Day 30 - The Null Star

“Sun Gorger”. Another attempt at finding salvation. The Dyson sphere space station was marketed as a solution to the Authority’s ever expanding need for energy. When the star beneath it burst into radioactive flames, it was thought lost. (like all our other hopes)

Happenstance discovered the truth. An off-target skip shunted a reckless crew past the shell of plasma to find the sphere still intact and trapped in the interior of a quasi-star. With void beneath and conflagration above, what remains in within the halls of The Null Star?
